With over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and more than twenty community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of the LGBTQ community and allies in the nation. Celebrations begin on a Saturday in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco the last full weekend of June each year.

The Parade, which takes place the Sunday morning of the event, kicks off from Beale Street along Market and ends at Market and 8th St. in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

Gay Pride Festival taking place in Cologne’s charming Old City district and kicks off at 6pm on Friday with a Street Festival. Cologne is Germany’s 4th largest city in Germany After the official opening there are stages in Heumarkt with DJs and different shows. The surrounding streets and square has a market with different types of stands.

The official parade is on Sunday afternoon from Deutzer Brücke to Komödienstraße wuth around 120 different floats.

One of Europe's largest gay pride event with the parade taking 7 hours to pass through the centre of Madrid. Estimated attendance each year is around 2 million people and the city is packed for 4 days with many arriving on Thursday when Madrid starts to fill up. There is a popular parade through the streets of Brighton on the Saturday morning followed by huge festival event in Preston Park.
